Katzenpost is a free software project dedicated to researching and building strongly anonymous communications protocols. In particular our focus is on packet switching anonymous communication networks called mix networks.

Katzenpost is the world's first and only post quantum decryption mix network. This means that our cryptography uses post quantum primitives which in theory are not vulnerable to a cryptographically relevant quantum computer.

Katzenpost prioritizes real world use cases and real world threat models that prioritize protecting people's privacy who want to communicate with one another freely.
